NEW TO BPE?
INFORMATION YOU SHOULD KNOW ON YOUR MOVE-IN DAY
Security, Guard House – Direct Line 215-855-1008
Administration – 215-855-4109
CAR REGISTRATION – The day following your move-in please turn in the Vehicle Registration form to the Administrative Office to insure proper registration of your car.
YOUR ADDRESS – Select the link below to determine addresses to use for Outgoing Mail Address and Incoming Mail Delivery as well as Package Delivery Routines.
Please note that 1001 Valley Forge Road is NOT required for residential mail. HOWEVER, the street address IS necessary for any movers, UPS, FedEx, or other package deliverers as the drivers must have it for their vehicle GPS systems.
ACCESS CARDS – The access card is used to unlock the building doors from the outside. No card is required to exit the building. To unlock the door, place the card two to six inches in front of the card reader. Doors are computer controlled.
UNIVEST BANK – UNIVEST Bank and Trust Co. has a branch office in the upper lobby to the left of the Blue Turtle gift shop.
TV CHANNEL 1979 (IN HOUSE) – Our in-house information channel advises residents of times and places of various activities and group meetings, as well as the dinner menu for the day and many other Brittany Pointe matters of interest.
PICTURES OF NEW RESIDENTS – Resident Robert Burns takes pictures of new residents within a few days of their arrival. He will phone new residents to arrange a convenient day and time to have the picture taken.
NO TIPPING POLICY – ACTS’ policy prohibits individual residents from tipping any employees no matter how well they provide their services. In order to say thank you for a job well done, BPERA (Brittany Pointe Estates Residents Association) with the blessing of ACTS, has established a Gratuity Program to provide a method of expressing appreciation for all they do. The rules, policy, and procedure for this program are fully explained in the printed materials that will be given to new residents by their shepherd the evening of the move-in day. They apply to hourly workers in the service areas of Culinary, Security, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Office.
LEAVE OF ABSENCE – When you leave your apartment for more than one or two days, you should fill out a Leave of Absence form, so that the administration knows that you are absent. In addition, if you are away for 14 consecutive days in one month, you can receive a meal credit. Print out and complete the Leave of Absence Form and take it to the Receptionist the month before your leave.
WELCOME TO BRITTANY POINTE!
